They design and sew their own costumes, choreograph their own routines, and in between performances still manage to squeeze in time for their grandchildren, and their work commitments. The Silver Taps appeared on National Television in a George Negus New Dimensions documentary ‘Ties that bind’ in August 2003 which explored the uniqueness and quintessential elements of their tap dancing troupe. That particular program inspired many seniors to take up dancing in one form or another and proved that ‘you’re never too old to give dance a go!’ The Silver Taps are based in Perth, Western Australia. |
